RPG lurv… kinda

Bah. Who needs a PS3 when I have my old game console? What can I say? I am cheap.

Okay, I lied.

I am not exactly the epitome of self-constraint. In fact, I am good friends with instant gratification. Fortunately, I am not a big video games geek. Or else… I could’ve been in trouble. I will stick with manga and DVDs, thankyouverymuch. Or will I?

About half hour ago, I finally finished my first RPG, Radiata Stories. At least, the Human-path part. Still, it felt good. I am rearing to give the non-human path a go but I am not quite through with the first part. There seems to be a “bonus” round. A new location, the dragon’s lair cave, suddenly popped out of nowhere. They say curiosity killed the cat but I think I’ll live. Hee. Anyhow, I wish there will be a surprise character after I defeat the dragons.

This is bad. I really should be doing more important things rather than playing RPG. Maybe I could read more manga, watch some Black Blood Brothers, or record my entry for Animesuki’s karaoke contest (tomorrow’s the deadline). You know, important stuff. But I must concede that I finally understand the appeal. I can foresee over hundreds of wasted hours in front of the television. Like I said, it is bad.

I originally played with the non-human side (because Ridley’s an awesome tsundere), but I think the humans have many many more babes. I mean, c’mon, the trolls are just ugly! Anyway, I guess it would be interesting to see the other ending, but I kind of got all Radiata’d out after the first go.

indeed, i chose the non human path solely because of Ridley xD
trust me, u’ll get a brilliant char once ure done with the dragons
jus 1 word of advice, b4 u proceed on beyond tat, pump ureself with healing items.. u’ll nid them.. dearly @@

i loved radiata stories, but i found the story lacking depth and length.. perhaps i’ve just been exposed to too many deep animes @@

I agree with AC, Tri-Ace doesn’t get enough love. Congrats on beating your first RPG though! It’s a good feeling to get through a long game. :)

I played Radiata Stories as well (I finished the non-human side, having seen my cousin finish the human side earlier). I found it to be a good game and would love to see a sequel of sorts down the road.

I also chose the non-human side because of Ridley. I agree that the human side had a lot more cuties, though. That whole time, I wish I could’ve gotten Leona into my party. I’m still in the cave, but I did get a new cameo character from a video game I’ve been playing recently for the PSP.
