Everything about Cossette's story is so predictable it's almost painful (come on, when someone says "this is my favourite blouse, you absolutely must not do anything to it", it's obviously going to get wrecked within about ten minutes). At least the Jean Valjean sections have been more bearable. I’d like to say it gets better, but so far (seen three episodes), it actually seems to have got worse. I certainly remember reading Les Miserables(the one that is edited so that it is easy to follow) long time ago but I don't remember the story that well. I haven't check out this series but I'm not planning to since it's not really getting good ratings.
