Tadaima

An extreme dry spell hit this blogger during these past few months. In between her reading, karaoke’ing, and and Heroes-obsessing, she drastically reduced her anime watching.

Bugger.

It was never my intention to neglect this site. Unfortunately, the fluctuating interests affected my anime blogging. It was a phase, I knew. The trigger to rekindle my anime enthusiasm was almost unseen. Ah, but Heroes went on a temporary hiatus, and I was pulled away from that fandom for a little bit. Then, by sheer randomness and boredom, I marathoned Kokumono.

Watching a hefty load of thirty-something episodes of Saiunkoku Monogatari might do the trick to reanimate my almost dying affection. At the time of my Kokumono marathon, only thirty-five episodes were out. As soon as I realized that I wasted used god-knows-how-many-hours and I reached the end of the line, I found myself checking Animesuki everyday for the last three episodes. And believe me, I have not done that for a very long time.

Today, We Suck released the last episode of Kokumono’s first season, just in time for the first episode of season two. And I haven’t been this excited for an anime series since, well, last year. (The HanaDan drama does not count since it is, you know, a drama.)

Spring may finally be upon this blogger. I miss my old writing routine. I miss my blog rounds. And I guess, I miss anime.
