Blinked and missed it

Darnit. I was informed yesterday by a co-worker that his friend recently organized an anime con, Anime Matsuri, here in Houston. He said the con had decent amount of attendees considering this was its inaugural launch.

The guest list was kinda meh, but I would’ve liked to attend the one with the ‘Transformers’. I probably would’ve enjoyed going to the artist lanes and the art gallery. I’m sure there were vendors in the con. I’ve been anime goods dry this past few months, so I know I’d like that. Plus, there’s the cosplay, gaming, and KARAOKE.

Co-worker dude told me he made a costume for someone. I wonder if he’ll bring a picture.

Anyone here who attended? Probably not.

In other (old-but-new-to-me) con news, TOMOKAZU SEKI is attending Otakon!!!!!!! OH. MY. GAWD. Let me fangirl for a moment, thankyouverymuch.

I was kinda wishy-washy about going to Baltimore this year, but for this alone, I AM DEFINITELY GOING. I have voice-crush on him since Fruits Basket. And he seems to be quite goofy in person. I hope there’s autograph signing. I am so there.

Forgive this erratic post, but I just read the (old) news literally five minutes ago. I am excited like crazy (in a way some fanboys are all for Aya Hirano). I am pretty much hyperventilating as I type.

Damn.
