I guess there is no way to log off the cyberspace. Otherwise there might be too many loopholes like you do some awful thing and then log out immediately, which makes you "invisible".

Although I guess for each action you do you can be trackable in a way (like if you hack something the authorities can see which IP hacked it and which glasses have that IP and the location of those glasses, perhaps?), and I guess that way the spectacles have some kind of automatic recognition with whoever wears them; in episode 4 there's a character who wears someone elses' spectacles but gets hit by an attack that was meant for him anyway.
This is just really postulation though... if they really have thought that far that'd be amazing.

Welcome to the Gurren-Lagann bandwagon!

What do you think to the newest addition to their "family"? Can't wait to hear you thoughts on it.

So I guess that means one has no way of disconnecting the glasses from the internet (short of frying its data)? Since this reality is a relatively advanced one, why can't they make it so that when you logged off the cyberspace, your glasses are also disconnected? Am I making any sense? ^^;

Yasako and co. could take off their glasses when they're being chased by Sacchi, but when they get "hit" it's actually their glasses being hit. It's a little bit similar to getting your computer screwed up; you won't be able to access the internets and possibly might get very depressed at this, but your actual life is still perfectly fine. Whether they take off their specs or not, if Sacchi fires at them then their spectacles will take damage (which takes money to repair) - just that with their specs on they can actually see it coming and hopefully avoid it. Taking off one's spectacles and pretending something never happened is, in a way, escaping from cyber reality, strange as it sounds.
